What I’m Sipping On In… DECEMBER
A stemless glass of Shiraz at The Smith.
Same old silky shiraz, brand spanking new spot to sip it in.
The Smith is a great addition to the neighborhood (East Village), filled with locals and upper east siders pretending to be locals. There is a delicious and varied food menu, which comes in quite handy after you’ve had two….three….four glasses.
We dined on an uber-sophisticated dish of Mac&Cheese along with a classy side of French Fries. It was a decadent evening. We also tasted the Sicilian Cauliflower, as an homage to my roots. I don’t know much about cauliflower dishes, but to be called Sicilian you’d think there’d be a little more spice or fire to it. Nevertheless, the food was amazing.
And the company was even better :)
