Gimme Some Sugar!

Like a NYC woman who plays it safe by outfitting herself in all-black, all-the-time, Divalicious too is in need of some COLOR.  Unlike the bland woman who convinces herself she’s ultra-chic, I fully admit we need some imagery to break up boring blocks of black text on white space.

A photoshoot is in order!

And it’s coming, I promise.

My friend and photographer, SugarCookie Brooklyn, is off lounging with ever-scenic pool boys and palm trees in celebration of yet another fabulous year (HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCB!).

When she returns, we plan to brighten up the site.  Think of it like a punchy new lipgloss on a fresh face.  Bronzer on a pale cheek.  Shocking red toes on bare feet.

It’s going to look GORG!

*MAC Dazzleglass in Bare Necessity and Baby Sparks (shiny, sparkly luxe gloss in a peachy nude and a sheer pink)

*Heatherette for MAC Dual Edge Eye Pencil in Nighthawk/FrontRow (a dark creamy eye pencil on one end and a nude glitter liner on the other – I use the nude side from lid to crease for extra drama)

*Shiseido Hydro-Powder Eye Shadow in Languid Lagoon (a vivid turquoise blue that looks amazing alone or layered with browns)

*Benefit Eye Bright Pencil (a pink brightener that’s perfect for under the brow and the inner-corner of the eye – perfect for the morning after too many Passion Fruit Martinis)

*Clarins Fix’ Make-up (a grapefruit and vitamin C mist to spritz on and set your makeup – ideal for days you’ve done such a great job you’ll never want to wash it off, you may as well become a makeup artist you’re so damn good)
