no sense and no sensibility

I left my apartment building this morning behind a fairly attractive young woman in the most offensively sensible of sensible shoes. Truly.
Heavy square block in the front, short thick stub in the back.
These heels almost made me sick.
Then I thought to myself, could this just be the aftermath of one too many Cinco-de-Mayo cocktails??
And then I got a grip. No, it was most definitely the shoes.
I do not understand why my campaign platform is not resonating but I’ll say it again: Say No to Sensible Shoes.
And while we are at it, Say No to Sensible Anything.

just re-reading a few of my favorite posts and it dawned on me that the worst part is that comfortable shoes can be stylish… Cole Haan w/ nike soles, geox, etc. why has no one told her?
