My favorites from the NYC Couture Bridal shows this week…
And for the nonconventionalist like myself….
In summary and in the words of my good friend F, Is it bad to want to get married just to wear the dress?!?!?!

That final dress is amazing…what a beautiful color…is that a wedding dress as well? are those peony flowers along the base and tulips at the shoulder?
Yes, a very nontraditional gown for the woman who wants to be a showstopper :) I’m not sure exactly of all the flowers but there were roses in the mix too.

Regardless of the type of flowers, that dress is HOT!! I’d have a lot of fun in it even if I was just sitting around in my apt.
Awwww, Ldiva’s so sweet… I hate missing your blog posts. They’re informative & never boring- even the ones that don’t apply to me (“The Other Brazilian” -thank God!! I’d blow my life’s savings on straightening my hair when that money’s already been earmarked for travel and clothes).
