Daily Diva 3.30.11 – Lady in Red… Sort of… Mostly

Sometimes I want that old-hollywood feel of a classic red lip but in a fresh interpretation that translates to spring.

So for this look, which I wore to The Hurricane Club, Riff Raff, Gold Bar and Greenhouse (yes all in one night, I may be getting older but I’m not slowing down!), I chose a red lipliner that I used to outline the lips and slightly blend inward particularly at the cupid’s bow and the center of the bottom lip plus a coral lipstick to fill in from the center blended outward. A little tonality for my divas :)

LIPLINER – the infallible NARS Jungle Red (a must-own)

LIPSTICK – Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Coral

Kept the eyes clean with a wash of Bare Escentuals Night Owl and some black liner. And of course, mascara.

    Love this! Thank you! I’ve been looking for the perfect spring coral lip color and this looks amazing! I will definitely be picking this up.. and the best part.. Revlon is a cruelty-free brand! Woo hoo!
