Heat Spray...do I really need it?

Hi LDIVA, How important is it to use a heat spray/product before using a curling wand or even a flat iron? I have also seen setting sprays. I am not sure if one is to protect and the other is to add shine and hold. What are your thoughts? Thanks:)

Dry Hair

Hi LDiva! My hair has recently become dry and I'm looking for a fix! I'm not sure if it's dry because of the highlights I had put in a couple weeks ago at the salon, or if it happened during the climate shift (moving from the west coast to the east coast).
